Vernie, calls Hong Kong and London home, and has left his creative footprint in both locations.
In London, Vernie studied as an MA student in Communications and Design at London’s St. Martin’s College of Art and Design, during which he created an animated short, “Chicken Bomb” which was featured on Radiohead’s website, Radiohead.tv. Vernie also directed the first global commercial for Sony Bravia through Fallon London, and also projects for Sega, and Mother of Pearl.
Vernie’s Hong Kong clients and projects have included Skyscape, which was an abstract film also included on Radiohead’s website. His work captured the attention of an independent agency, Communion W, that lead to an award winning commercial campaign with Citibank and Visa including the Gold for best campaign and direction at the HK4As.
