Monica Menez is a German fashion & art photographer. Monica loves to play with colors, patterns and optical illusions; challenges aesthetic prejudices and strives to overcome them. She continually creates new and exceptional photographs – in her personal projects as well as in her commissioned fashion work. She creates her own truth, surreal, narrative stories. Her main characters are, almost unexceptional, seductive women of a strange beauty.
Monica has a reputation for her unique storytelling. Her well-received series “Secretary Cat”, “To Russia with Love” and “Curtains up for Electric Ladyland”, were shown in several Groupexibitions in Europe and beyond. Additional works have been on display in Madrid, Cannes, Raise Magazine, Blink (Korea), and Vision (China).
