Matthew Frost is best known for his directing award winning music videos, commercials,
and still photography. His transition into fashion films has been and exciting one and his work will be screened at the 2012 La Jolla Fashion Film Festival this July
Matthew was born in London and grew up in the south of France before
relocating to the United States to study at the University of California at
Berkeley.
A couple short films led him to directing music videos for bands like Alan
Braxe and M83. He has since been involved in several films and photography
projects, notably he has been co-writing the Larry Clark feature “Wassup
Rockers”.
Based in New York, he splits his time between Los Angeles and Paris
directing commercials, music videos and taking pictures.
As a photographer he has collaborated with some major international
publications such as Capricious, El Pais, Jalouse, L’Officiel, Le Monde, Nylon,
Premiere, Teen Vogue and Vice.
