Marius Troy completed his Master degree in visual communication from the prestigious
Oslo National Academy of The Arts in 2009, and was even before graduating hired at the most award winning design agency in Norway, Apt AS.
While starting his career as a digital Art Director for Apt he created the infamous Ben Trovato Blog, a portal dedicated to discovering hidden talents in the world of fashion photography.
In 2011 Troy left his position as an Art Director for Apt in Oslo, Norway, and decided to make the move to the US to focus solely on Ben Trovato.
The publication has since grown to be a world provenance for fashion visualization, producing and publishing over 20 fashion productions monthly worldwide. With the online platform still growing rapidly, Troy has provided creative direction to hundreds of editorial fashion shoots and film productions worldwide, and he possesses an extensive experience in digital art direction in advertising, fashion and interactive media. The list of commercial clients he has worked with includes companies such as Dior, Nike, Oakley, VW, Alicia Key’s Keep A Child Alive, Helly Hansen, and many more
