Although more directors have indicated they are coming, the following directors have confirmed their appearance at LJFFF #2 making the Festival the largest gathering of fashion film creators in world history! A founding event not be missed. This is in addition to the many agents, artists representatives, producers, crew, actors, and entourages that will be attending.
ATTENDING DIRECTORS
Miguel Angel Font Bisier
One of Valencia Spain’s most influential artists, he now brings his years of directing work in music videos and commercial work to the world of fashion films. Using transcendent themes of psychology, beauty, and emotions he produces fashion films of wonderment.
Jacques Dequeker
Aside from being named “Best Fashion Photographer in Brazil”, no small task considering the intensity of Brazil’s fashion culture, Jacques goes beyond normal film styles in his productions. Innovative and on-the-edge is the standard his sets for himself.
Zaiba Jabbar
Known for her street-wise directing style she has become a fixture on edgy side of fashion films. Based out of London, her erotic and eclectic interpretations have caught the eye of major brands and fashion houses worldwide.
Miguel Jacob
Peruvian born, Sorbonne trained, and Toronto based, Miguel Jacob has used his art background to bring an innovative look to fashion films. His clean graphic elements and flowing style of directing make him one to watch.
Marcus K Jones
This New York based Director, Cinematographer, and Executive Producer has become an ascendant force in today’s fashion films. Known for his intense style and recently back from a production in Istanbul, he will be presenting three of his short films at the Festival.
Tak Kuroha
Born in Tokyo, raised in Italy, and now living in both L.A. and London, Tak never stops moving – both on land and in his mind. His fanciful productions have amazed views worldwide, soon to include the attendees at LJFFF #2.
George Manzanilla
Industry insiders call him the “Master of the 8mm”. This California based director travels the world’s exotic beach locations for his surf and lifestyle clients. His iconic style captures the essence of the billion dollar surf and skate fashion industry.
Bell Soto
Calling London and New York home, Bell’s work is exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the world. His work in fashion films reflects his strong artistic background and is one of the many reasons he sought out by the world’s top fashion designers.
Vernie Yeung
Hong Kong and London based, Vernie’s fashion films have been referred to as mini epics in sensuality and cinematography. The bare eroticism of the film he is presenting at LJFFF #2 is sure to transfix the audience.
