Karl Lagerfeld, the German born French educated maestro, is returning to the screen of 2012 La Jolla Fashion Film Festival.
As a global icon, has been an apprentice, entrepreneur, collaborator, and director, throughout his storied career in fashion, art, and film.
Some of Mr. Lagerfeld’s professional highlights include:
· A forty-plus year relationship with the House of FENDI
· “Chloe,” Lagerfeld’s first fragrance in 1975
· Appointed as Chanel’s art director in 1983
· Enters le Petit Larousse illustré (French dictionary).
As a director, Karl has directed “Shopping Fever,” “The Tale of a Fairy,” and a three-piece short film for Magnum Ice Creams premiering on Facebook, showing Karl’s ingénue for fashion and social media.
