George Manzanilla comes from the world of action sports films and music videos. He directs, shoots and edits. Having grown up around a family of engineers and film enthusiasts, capturing moving images was both a passion of art and technical curiosity. George’s mixture of image, sound and editorial technique has earned various awards including Best Cinematography & Production, Best Editing, Best Original Score, Most Innovative and has been featured at X-Dance Film Festivals and the Mar De Plata Film Festival in Argentina.

His current fashion work is a mixture of beautiful on-location and studio imagery for swimwear and sportswear client Billabong and more anti-establishment abstract youth culture imagery for skate and surf industry giant, Globe Shoes. Creating lifestyle imagery has been a focus of his work, however, blending the worlds of music and art, he feels, is the ultimate form of expression.
